Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
The short version: Remembell keeps your information on your iPhone. We don't collect it, we can't see it, and we never sell or share it.
Who we are
Remembell is made by Matrix26 LLC ("Matrix26", "we", "us"). This policy explains how the Remembell app for iPhone and iPad handles your information.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not collect, store, or send any personal information to us or to anyone else. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app does not connect to any server run by us.
What stays on your device
To work, Remembell saves the following only on your own device:
- Your medicines and reminders (names, amounts, times, notes, instructions, and pill counts)
- Your record of doses taken, skipped, or missed
- Notes you choose to make about how medicines make you feel, reactions, allergies, and questions for your doctor
- Medicines you've stopped, if you keep them in Past medicines
- Your first name, if you choose to enter it, and your settings
- Photos of pills or bottles, if you choose to take or pick them
- Names and phone numbers of people you add (family, doctor, pharmacy)
This information is included in your device's own backups (such as iCloud Backup) if you have them turned on. Those backups are managed by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple's privacy policy — we have no access to them.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Notifications — to remind you when it's time for a medicine.
- Alarms (iOS 26 and later) — to ring like an alarm clock, even when your phone is on silent.
- Camera — only if you choose to take a photo of a pill or bottle.
Choosing a photo from your library and choosing someone from your Contacts use Apple's private pickers: Remembell only receives the one photo or the one name and number you pick. It cannot see the rest of your photos or contacts.
App lock
If you turn on Lock Remembell, your iPhone checks your Face ID, Touch ID or passcode. Remembell never receives your face, fingerprint or passcode — iPhone only tells it whether the check passed.
If you email us
If you write to us at remembellsupport@matrix26.com, we receive what you choose to send — such as your email address and message. We use it only to answer you, we never sell or share it, and we delete old support messages once they're resolved. Please don't include more health details than you need to.
Sharing
Remembell never shares anything on its own. If you tap "Print", "Share", "Send to my doctor", "Call", or "Let … know", Apple's own printing, sharing, phone, or Messages screen opens and you choose whether to send and to whom.
Siri and widgets
If you ask Siri about your medicine, or add the Remembell widget, the information is read from Remembell on your device to answer you. We don't receive any of it.
Children
Remembell is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Deleting your information
You can erase everything at any time in Remembell → Settings → Start over → "Erase all my information", or by deleting the app.
Changes
If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. Because we don't collect contact information, we can't notify you directly — so we'll keep this page short and clear.
